Assignment on Ishtar, hypothesis?

I have an assignment to complete for year 12 Ancient History. My topic is Ishtar the Sumerian and Babylonian goddess. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a possible hypothesis for this topic? And if anyone has any further information on Ishtar (as sources are quite scarce) would you maybe be able to link me to some or maybe even just leave some info in the response? Thank-you.
