Whats the FORMAT of a REPORT (History Report)?

-Places of learning often have 'style-sheets' - booklets explaining the format of papers and the rules of use and citation of source materials for these papers.

Some will tell students to use (in North America, particularly) the rule put forward in the MLA volume (Modern Language Association of America) or that put out by the University of Chicago.

Some instructors will from time-to-time have their own rules and/or expectations, as well.
