Physical records like birth certificates were only introduced around the mid 1800's, before that births, deaths and marriages were entered in the Parish Register.That's why organisations like the SS only traced their ancestry back to the 1700's, due to lack of paper records.



Quite a few of the leading nazi's were Jewish, if considered under the racial laws: Ehardt Milch, famous aviator, was 100% Jewish under the nazi racial laws, but Hitler's signature turned him into an Aryan.



Hitler could do the same for himself. The Gestapo under his orders did weeding of files pertaining to him when he came to power and took over Austria.It is most likely any evidence they found was destroyed.

Many upon many will try and say Hitler was part-Jewish but this is not true, it was researched when opponents tried it because his father was born out of wedlock but it was found to be false, and after he died ever historian has researched this and found it to be impossible and false.



If you are saying Jewish as an ethnic Jew, Hitler was not ethnically Jewish, he was ethnically German because Austrians are Germans ethnically.



@ Madi Herridge - Learn to spell grandmother correctly, it was rumored it was his grandfather that was Jewish not his grandmother, she was the one supposively working in a Jewish family household as a maid, you have no evidence of this so stop saying things that are not true.

No, and you cannot learn genetics from articles in the Daily Mail or World Weekly News. Nor can you learn about Hitler, read your Mein Kampf. As a young boy he had no antipathy to Jews, that was something he acquired when he moved to Vienna to study.



Interestingly, before WWII the Daily Mail was owned by a man who thought Hitler was a Good Thing, and used that paper to spread his opinion.

I always heard that one of his grandmothers was Jewish, i.e., that he was a quarter Jewish but on the side that would count (in this case mother's mother). But I haven't researched it to make sure.
Think he had an Aunt. You do understnad he didnt actually hate Jews right? He just needed something to united the German people and most of them already disliked Jews.
