Hi i got some good answers last night a question about lincoln and the civil war and today fire power?

-last question i had asked if lincoln would have had today fire power during the civil war would have used it

any would lincoln authorized the use of special weapons on the South why or why not and if so what would have been the targets where would come from again this is for a paperWar was very different back then, not just fire power there was a code of honor that was strictly enforced, and Lincoln was very angery with Sherman's total war agaisnt the South. However, towards the end of the Civil War Lincoln was looking for a way out so if he did have the weapons he might have used them. If he did he would have targeted Rail Road lines that crossed over Va cause that is how the South move its army, and of course Richmond the capital.
