Don't you think its weird to think about people like today only living thousands of years ago?

-I was just imaging a group of women dressed in rags and eating dry berries out of their hands sitting on the ground outside laughing about something with each other. Maybe like the strange antics of a toddler around or something. It sounds cheesy to wonder about these things to me fsr. Its such a weird thought to me to know thousands of years ago people still told jokes and laughed with each other and admired the beauty of sunsets and watched the birds and felt the same emotions we do today. Like with crushes and stuff... I feel like modern society is so cocky, like we think our ancestors weren't as smart as us or as clever and more. I feel like people don't think about these things ever. To imagine yourself back then in those times. Humans with emotions same as today whether they were a daydreamer, outgoing, loner, shy and more all lived thousands of years ago in huts and hunted with spears and more, only with no concept of what the future held for humanity. It just makes me wonder what that says about our current times & the future of people from this current state. Like when humans started to become more stationary if they suddenly all saw themselves as so much smarter than those nomads before them, and the conversations they had about it, but it kept moving ahead. Humans are so egotistical that its funny.
